Paraa Safari Lodge
Paraa Safari Lodge is in Murchison Falls National Park, North West of Uganda. The 40 metre wide River Nile, on it's journey from its source at Lake Victoria to join Lake Albert, is suddenly compressed into a gorge only six meters wide, and cascades 43 metres below. Murchison Falls is one of the world's most powerful flows of natural water.
Elevated high above the Falls on the north side of the river, the historical Paraa Safari Lodge enjoys simply astounding views.
Accommodation is in 56 rooms, 2 suites and the Queen's Cottage. All rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished.
Activities that one can enjoy here are game drives, and a launch cruise to the base of the falls as well as to the Nile delta at Lake Albert where one may see hippos, crocodiles, plains game and a wide variety of birdlife.
The lodge also has a swimming pool.
