The 6 bedrooms and suites are divided in three categories:
– 2 Sultan Rooms: +/- 40sqm each, with private bathrooms and a superb sea view to admire while relaxing during the day or with a drink at sunset;
– 3 Prince Rooms: +/- 25sqm, with private bathroom and separate dressing room;
– 1 Princess Room: this room is slightly smaller but as original as the others and has a good size bathroom with direct entrance from the room.
In order to maintain the character of this antique building, there are no noisy bars or restaurants, there is a wide variety of these close by in the Stone Town. However, there will be a beautiful and bright breakfast courtyard, one of the jewels of this house and drinks will be available in the living room which is the perfect place to relax on one of the Zanzibar beds or large sofas while reading a book or simply taking in the magical atmosphere and sounds of the town all the while gazing at the turquoise blue Indian Ocean views.

Enjoy nightly performances of Taarab Music – a combination of African, Arabic and Indian influences that was first played in the 1820’s at the Sultan’s palace, Taarab is usually performed by a singer and accompanied by an orchestra comprising the Kanun, (similar to a zither) accordion, the nay (flute) and drums.
