Larsens Camp is sited on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River, in Samburu National Reserve and named after Erik Ole Larsen, a legendary Dane credited with defining the luxury safari under canvas.
The river is the perfect stage for an endless pageant of wildlife and of course many species of Birds.
All 20 tents are spacious and raised on wooden platforms nestled between Acacia Trees and Doum Palms. All are equipped with a private bathroom with running hot and cold water.
Enjoy watching the animals from the camp or let the driver take you for a game drive in the park.
Accommodation is in 20 free standing luxurious tents each with king or 2 twin beds with a private balcony. All tents are positioned along the west bank of the Uaso Nyiro River in such a way that each is bathed with light at sunrise. Each tent stands on a plinth of natural stone and all have en suite private bathrooms stocked with a range toiletries, flushing toilets, constant hot water and 24 hour electricity (240 volts).
